Celebrating Joseph Kalichstein

For over four decades, The Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio illuminated the musical world and Peoples' Symphony Concerts' seasons with insightful and captivating performances and recordings of the piano trio literature, commissioning important new works for generations to come. This afternoon's program featuring Anna Polonsky, Jaime Laredo, Nokuthula Ngwenyama, and Sharon Robinson is dedicated, with affection and admiration to Joseph Kalichstein, who passed away in March 2022. It is a program that he was to play and his presence will surely be felt by all of us.
