HELP ENSURE PSC F❤RE❤ER IN OUR 125TH SEASON

In addition to our annual contributions to PSC which I’ve been making for decades, PSC remains in my estate planning. In a world where so many wonderful projects have faded into being dim memories, PSC has kept alive the incredible legacy of offering the highest level of recitals and chamber-music performances at an astonishingly affordable price. I would never have developed into the musician, scholar, professor, and music administrator that I became without having attended all eighteen PSC concerts each year at Washington Irving High School throughout my tween-aged and teen-aged years the 1950s and ‘60s. PSC is downright remarkable.
— Joel Lester, former Dean/ Director of Mannes College of Music, and Professor Emeritus, CUNY Graduate Center

YOU CAN LEAVE A LEGACY

Peoples' Symphony Concerts was founded in 1900 by Franz X. Arens "to provide the best music for students and workers for minimum prices." We might not still be here offering New Yorkers on a limited budget affordable world-class concerts were it not for a $50,000 bequest from singer and philanthropist Annie Louise Carey Raymond, made in the mid-1900s and wisely invested by the Board in IBM stock. It was the first gift to our Legacy Society to which appreciative members of our audience have left portions of their estates from $5,000 to $444,000. They knew, as do those of us who have pledged Legacy Society gifts, that the music that we have enjoyed over the years can only continue for future generations, if we help to make that happen with the legacy that we will create with our pledges and bequests.

We express our most sincere thanks to all those who have made bequests or pledges and those who will join us as members of Peoples' Symphony Concerts Legacy Society.
